Footloose (Youth Edition) Auditions

Welcome to Footloose Auditions!

Auditions will take place Monday, September 7 starting at 4:00 PM*.  See Audition Sign Up Slots (registration button) above

*Limited auditions slots available for those with a Monday conflict.  Email cyndee@cmtonstage.com to get more information about alternate audition date and approval.

Callbacks will take place Tuesday, September 8 from 5:00- 9:00.    

**Age Range to Audition: Ages 5th grade (10 years old) - current High School Senior  

***Tuition- Tuition to be in Footloose. is $400.

LOCATION:

 Children's Musical Theatre 101 S Wyandotte, Bartlesville

Callbacks: East Cross Church 820 S Madison, Bartlesville

What to bring:

1. Please prepare a 30-45 Second Monologue as well as a 45- 60 Second Song Selection (Approximately Verse/Chorus, 16 Bars). You may choose your own monologue or select one of the pieces provided (See link at bottom of page).  Both pieces should show off your range and personality as a person and performer. You may audition with your song or monologue first/whatever is your preference. Please note that there will NOT be an accompanist provided. *If you are using a digital file or youtube link for your accompaniment music, we would like you to send your song BEFORE your audition to help expedite the process.  Email the information to cyndee@cmtonstage.com

2. Pictures and measurements will be taken so please dress comfortably but presentable.  

Audition Schedule:

• Please arrive 15 minutes before your audition! Once you have auditioned you are dismissed for the evening. Please sign up for an audition time slot (registration button) above.
• Callbacks: Those receiving a callback will be emailed at the end of Audition Night (Monday). Not everyone will receive a callback. This does not necessarily mean that you were not cast. Callbacks will consist of cold reads from the script, improvisation and group exercises, light choreo, and singing.  **All who are called back are expected to be at East Cross at 5:00 on Tuesday, September 9.  Callbacks will be from 5:00- 9:00 at East Cross Church 
• Roles to be accepted by September 12th at the latest! Limited scholarships may be available.  Finacial Extension Request Available. 

Please note: Not everyone who auditions is guaranteed a spot in the show.  Casting decisions will be made on the show casting needs and the artisitc vision of the directors.

Rehearsals:

• Watch party: Sunday, September 13
• Rehearsals will Begin Monday September 14.
• Most rehearsals will be Saturday mornings from 8:30- 12:30 and Monday evenings from 5:30- 8:30.  Adjustments to the rehearsal schedule have been made for MMS choir concert, District Honor Choir, and All-State auditions.  Tentative schedules will be shared at auditions.
• Must be available the entirety of show week; non-negotiable starting November 15

• Saturday, November 21
